About Dani Chandler.

Dani Chandler’s work ethic was shaped long before she ever stepped into public service. At an early age, she began running heavy equipment alongside her dad in the woods — work that demanded responsibility, grit, and confidence well beyond her years. That early experience taught her to face challenges head-on, to adapt quickly, and to learn by doing. Those qualities have stayed with her throughout her life, defining her reputation as a true “Jane of all trades.”

Dani’s diverse background spans education, business ownership, nonprofit leadership, and serving on rural community boards. She spent meaningful time working in education, where she honed strong communication skills, patience, and an ability to connect with people of all ages and backgrounds. Later, she became a small business owner, and as an entrepreneur, she managed operations, staffing, budgeting, and customer service — gaining a deep understanding of what it takes to lead, solve problems, and serve a community.

 

Most recently, Dani served as the Marketing and Outreach Coordinator for a nonprofit organization. In that role, she blended her love of storytelling with strategic communication, expanding community awareness, strengthening partnerships, and supporting programs that made a real impact on rural families. She is known for bringing people together, building relationships, and turning ideas into action through events, campaigns, and collaborative initiatives.

Colleagues and community members alike describe Dani as reliable, resourceful, and solutions-oriented — someone who steps up, gets things done, and supports the success of the entire team. She values communication, trust, and cooperation, and she takes pride in being a steady, dependable presence who works hard for those around her.

 

At her core, Dani believes in lifelong learning and growth. Every chapter of her life has equipped her with new skills and new perspectives. Now, she is ready to bring that same determination, adaptability, and hands-on work ethic to the role of Mayor — serving the people of Holiday Lakes with integrity, transparency, and a deep commitment to community.
